Wence Ventanilla Calinawan
Wence empowers aspiring finance professionals through a practical, results-oriented approach. With over a decade of experience in Corporate Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis, she offers deep expertise in financial modeling, strategic planning, and career development.
Wence holds an MBA specializing in Strategy from HEC Paris, where she was awarded the HEC Excellence Scholarship, a merit-based grant given to 10% of the class. During her MBA, she earned a Certificate in Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), gaining experience as a Strategy Consultant for early-stage tech companies across Europe and the UK. She also holds a Mergers and Acquisitions certificate from Crédit Agricole CIB and HEC Paris. Her undergraduate degree is a BS in Management, majoring in Legal Management with a minor in German Studies from Ateneo de Manila University, where she was also a scholar.
Having grown up in Manila, studied in Paris, and now residing in Berlin, Wence combines regional knowledge with global insights. Her international experience spans diverse industries, including digital banking, construction, logistics, retail, property development, and healthcare. In senior finance roles, she has consistently excelled in strategic financial management, driving operational efficiency and growth.
In her free time, Wence is a passionate musician, playing the violin and piano. She has performed as a solo violinist and with a professional orchestra internationally.
